Tweet game between political leaders is not a new thing. But the environment from twitter heated up even more when recently Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann alleged in a tweet that UP Gangster Mukhtar Ansari was kept in a Punjab jail because of his friendships with Congress leaders, he also brought to the notice a 55 lakhs case and claimed it to be recovered by then Home Minister Captain Amrinder Singh and Jail Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.
Furious by these claims, Captain Amrinder Singh, who is now part of BJP, in his reply mentioned that all this took place lawfully and with proper investigation and that CM Bhagwant Man passed half witted statements, whereas Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said that he doesn't want to engage himself in any tweet wars and will prove his point through a press conference.
For the same issue, Congress Punjab President Amarinder Singh Raja and Deputy President Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa held a press conference today declining all claims of Mann and providing copy of bills totalling 55 lakhs and answering all the Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha questions put up by Mann and with all necessary reports. They also questioned the credibility and authenticity of the AAP Government.
Meanwhile, Mann also gave reply to the Captain by tweeting that those who worked as opportunists, no need to teach them their stand. He threatened to stop Singh and Randhawa's pension and other perks if money is unpaid and giving an ultimatum of 2 hours.
