One tabletop crossing will be made on the road separating sectors 16-17 and two on the road separating sectors 17-18 with the purpose of reducing the speed of the vehicles at the zebra crossing and ensure the safe movement of pedestrians, along with people with disabilities.
As per official data, an amount of Rs 3 crore has been allotted to make the junctions safe and the deadline for the same has been set to 4 months.
Along with this, a separate line for the movement of people with disabilities will be constructed. As per current orders, No PELICAN (pedestrian light control activation) system will be installed for the crossing of pedestrians.
