India tops the Digital Transaction Chart for the year 2024
Sharing the list of top players in the digital transaction market, India grabbed first position surpassing most developed countries of the world. According to statistics, a figure of approximately 141,920 million transactions was recorded as digital payments by Indians. As per reports shared online, the data displayed India as a major shareholder in digitization.
In the chart, China came second followed by the EU and USA recording worth 31,112, 10,483, 7055 million respectively. India had taken a high spot previously in 2022 with 46% real time users choosing to pay digitally. As per the data shared by mygov, describing its user engagement, the website showed spiked up rates by Indians. Brazil had a second spot in the 2022 data.
Earlier, in 2022, PM Narendra Modi had also shared the proud moment with citizens, announcing how rapidly India is progressing in the field of information diagnostics. In addition, cross border transactions are also being pushed to bring a change in the field. The Ministry of Electronics and Information had also initiated several schemes to expand the nodes. With the report coming, the efforts indeed sprouted up in the form of the country's top position.
