Inspector Malkit Singh assigned with the charge of Sector 11 Police Station in Chandigarh.

Inspector Malkit Singh replaced Inspector Gyan Singh in Sector 11. Inspector Gyan Singh was criticized for poor administration within the police station, and there were complaints about him troubling other policemen. The SSP UT had received complaints about disturbances in the operation of the police station.

Additionally, the Panjab University elections are scheduled to take place in a few days.The authorities recognized the seriousness of the matter and took immediate action. Inspector Gyan Singh has been relieved of his responsibilities at Police Station 11.Now Inspector Malkit Singh has been appointed as the SHO.

He has demonstrated his efficiency in handling Panjab University elections in the past. He is assigned with the responsibility of upcoming Panjab University elections.
