The decision was put forward by Chief Justice of India, D.Y. Chandrachud who appealed for a more rational organization of senior lawyers. Historical tracing back to 2019 when six women were awarded this status. The main aim of such a conclusion, according to statements, was to disclose prevailing gaps in the legal profession and design a system for advancement of women in judicial spheres.
Such notable expressions of understanding the importance of empowerment in general prove to be a boon for the constitutional country. Implementations such as these would in fact encourage women to speak and act without hesitation to provide justice for many waiting at the Gates of law.
