Left Wing celebrates victory in JNU elections.
Students at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) voted in large numbers for the student union elections on Friday. In the recent JNUSU elections, there was a high turnout of around 73 percent among the students. Left-wing candidates won big, taking all four central panel positions.
Dhananjay won as President with 2411 votes, beating ABVP rivals. Avijit Ghosh became Vice President with 2135 votes, defeating Deepika Sharma from ABVP who got 1545 votes. Priyanshi Arya, supported by the Left, won a landslide victory for General Secretary with 2719 votes, while Mo Sajid secured 2336 votes for The Joint Secretary position against Govind Dangi from ABVP with 2159 votes.
This outcome highlights the left-wing's strong influence in JNU's political scene, marking a noticeable change in campus dynamics.The results haven't come yet, but this may confirmed to be accurate.
