In the ongoing North Zone Inter University Women's Chess Tournament , Panjab University Women's Chess team bagged the 2nd Position.
Not only this, they were hence selected for the All India Inter-University Championship.
Almost over 206 sporting events are organized every year on four zone basis and All India Basis for both men and women sections. Being able to make it to the national level is a huge achievement for the team as well as the University.
