As Waris Punjab De leader's, Amritpal manhunt operation is still on, Akal Takht Jathedar came in support of his followers yesterday and spoke against the AAP Government in Punjab asking them to 'Stop hunting and defaming Sikhs'. He gave an ultimatum of 24 hours to release Sikh youth arrested during the hunt of Amritpal.
He also criticized the BJP Government and condemned the fact that no action was taken against those who demanded a Hindu Rashtra.
After his statement, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann slammed him through a tweet. He mentioned that "You and SGPC are always favoring Badals. It's better if you give an ultimatum to those who disrespect and miss the images of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji".
CM also urged them to stop provoking people .
