When everyone in the country is celebrating Diwali with lots of enthusiasm Hero Homes in Mohali came with a unique idea which made its place in Guinness Book of World Records.
The world's largest diya with the diameter 3.37m was manufactured with approximately 1,000kg steel. This was done to spread the message of positivity and peace.
Over 10,000 citizens, including 4000 residents of Hero Homes, pooled in approximately 3,560 litres of organic oil to create this unique diya.
The honour was done by Lt. Gen (retd.) K. J. Singh.
