Finally removing the sting that was stuck in many hearts since years, the historic match of Delhi Capitals v/s Royal Challangers Bangalore under Women's Premier League happening at Jaitley Stadium finally took a positive turn, securing a first ever win for RCB team.
The Delhi Capitals, after winning the toss had given a target of 114 runs to the rival team. Captain Smriti Mandhana and Elise Perry covered the field coast greatly with their sportsmanship scoring 115 runs in 19.3 overs. On the contrary, Delhi Capitals had a score of 113 runs in 18.4 overs, thus giving a tough line to RCB players.
Though the RCB team had started a little slow initially, they dug deeper into interests when they took up pace with momentous playing and leading support among themselves. In conclusion, they were able to conquer the match with 8 wickets in their pocket, creating historic environment with their first ever winning moment.
