Panjab University Chandigarh is witnessing theft cases each and every day and the irony is that instead of decreasing, the number of cases are increasing day by day.
Sometimes it's battery of Cars or sometimes bicycle, thieves are targeting a new object everyday.
Things got more complicated when a Laptop from Boys hostel no. 2 has been stolen near about 4-5 pm. As per information provided by Victim Abhisek Pandey, UIET 3rd semester student that he was sleeping in his room number 8 of 4 block that is on Ground floor.
He slept around 3 pm without locking his room as he thought his roommate will come, and when he wake up around 6.30 pm and realised that there is no laptop with him. He searched it here and there but found no where
At last he went to security where they checked the CCTV footage and found a guy covering his face with mask going out with same HP laptop bag with full speed.
Such incidents are worrying students and now putting questions on the security day by day
