In a display of unwavering dedication and skill, NCC Panjab University clinched the top spot at the recently concluded Combined Annual Training Camp-158. Hosted by the 2nd Chd Btn at NCC Academy, Ropar, the event witnessed fervent participation from over 400 students representing diverse institutions in the Chandigarh group.
Panjab University not only secured the title of the best institute but also earned accolades for its associated company, deemed the best in the entire camp. The PU unit's outstanding performance was highlighted by securing the runner-up position in tug of war, volleyball, and cultural events. Notably, two PUNCC cadets stepped forward to volunteer for the Guard of Honour for Brigadier Harpreet Singh, the Chandigarh Group Commander.
Among the 14 distinguished PUNCC cadets who contributed to the glory were Sgt. Lakshya Kumar Sharma, Sgt. Yuvraj, Lcpl Ayush Thakur, Cpl. Aaditya, Cdt. Udaybir Singh Deol, Cdt. Aman Kumar, Sgt. Arvind Kaushal, Lcpl. Pratham Singh Chahal, Cdt. Teghbir Singh Deol, Cdt. Vineet Yadav, Cdt. Paramveer Singh, Cdt. Pankaj Yadav, Cpl. Sunanda, and Lcpl. Pradeep Kaur. Their remarkable achievements not only resonate as a testament to their prowess but also serve as an inspiring tale of triumph in the annals of NCC history.
