World Tourism Day to be celebrated by Chandigarh Tourist Department

World Tourism day will be celebrated merrily by the Chandigarh tourist department from September 22-27.

Qismat-famous singer Ammy Virk is all set to perform on Saturday evening at plaza , sector 17, Chandigarh, apart from that famous personalities like Billa Sonipat Ala, Harpi Gill, Mahi Sharma, Jasmine Bajwa, Binnu Dhillon, Jaswinder Bhalla, Fazilpuria, Deep Bajwa, Ajay Hooda are also going to be present. A photography presentation will also be organised on September 22 at the sector 17 underpass.

At Pierre Jeanneret Museum, a painting workshop will be arranged on September 24, while on September 26, a quiz will be organised at the Government Museum and Art Gallery .

Three events will take place to conclude the event. First of all, there will be a sustainable tourism drive from Sukhna Lake point to the Information Centre at the Capitol Complex at 7 a.m. Secondly, at Navrang Theatre Sector 23 a film screening based on wildlife tourism will be organised from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.And, finally, tour of the city beautiful from 10:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.
