Chandigarh tricity area registered highest COVID-19 cases in last 5 months

In the recent surge of active cases a clear spike can be seen coming out of Chandigarh and nearby areas where Chandigarh itself accounted for 188 cases.

Followed closely by 126 new cases in Panchkula and 63 in Mohali. With that total cases stand at 934 in Chandigarh while 720 and 450 in Mohali and Panchkula respectively, making up an overall total of 2104.

Apart from that, the net positivity rate rose to 24.9% in Panchkula, 10.4% in Chandigarh and 9.4% in Mohali.
