Panjab University has successfully completed offline exams after 2 years for many courses. Some departments' final exams for bachelors final year are just over but now results of various exams has been becoming a major issue.
Due to the pandemic and delay in the timeline of curriculum, exams were conducted late across PU departments and affiliated colleges. And naturally, a delay in release of results and handing over of degrees.
Although some departments are too quick, they announced the results within the week and then some department students are still waiting for their 5th and 7th semester results.
This is creating problems for students as they have to take admissions in further courses, some have to apply for the foreign and Government exams. Although there are departments that are likely to release the results in a week or two after the students requested.
Earlier, students of affiliated colleges raised this issue of exams being late and eventually affecting the degree. They asked the exams be conducted sooner as it's a matter of students' careers.
PU Pulse urges the authorities to look into the matter at the earliest possible.
