The National Science Week-Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate, to promote science, has finally started, with a cycle rally, in offline mode from today. It is being mutually organized by Panjab University, Chandigarh and Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, from February 22 to February 28.
Events like Poster Exhibition by DRDO-TBRL, Book Exhibition by Publication Bureau and I&B, Best of Waste for Schools, Poster, Collage, and so on will be organized throughout the week with lectures by experts. The information regarding the festival was conveyed through a press conference held by PU and Punjab State Council.
Dr. Jaspreet Kaur of the Department of Botany, PU will be the coordinator of the one-week-long festival. Various eminent professors of PU were also present at the press conference.
