University Business School of Punjab University has seemingly worked its way up to catch a higher ground in terms of securing several career opportunities for its students, flaunting its achievements with an average package of Rs. 13.7 LPA in 2022, as compared to Rs. 10.1 LPA last year, marking a 35.2% increase in overall average package per annum.
Prof. Sanjay Kaushik (Chairman and Placement Coordinator, UBS) says that the institute has set its focus towards bringing the best opportunities from the industry for the students in every domain be it FMCG, Consulting, IT, automobile or retail from the best companies.
From am overall batch size is 125 students, 115 students sat for the placement process, out of which 105 students have bagged alluring offers from various prominent recruiters with the highest package of Rs. 58.48 LPA from Tolaram Group. This marked an increase of 10.22%, from last year's highest package of Rs. 53.06 LPA.
This year's placement drive, welcomed mpre than 45 recruiters including Tolaram Group, American Express, Trident, Dabur, EY, Deloitte, Adani, Maruti Suzuki, Finxera, Airtel , MG Motors, HPCL- MEL, HDFC Bank, Korn Ferry and various other reputed companies. There has been a 45% increase in the number of recruiters from previous year as 17 new recruiters participated in the process for the first time.
The top five companies in terms of the packages offered are : Tolaram (58.5 LPA), Trident (24 LPA), American Express (21.3 LPA), Dabur (15 LPA), Adani Group (14.5 LPA) and Korn Ferry (14.5 LPA).
The placement team working under the guidance of Prof. Sanjay Kaushik and other faculty members have dedicatedly worked on showcasing the best talent of their students to the industry, which has been highly appreciated and chosen by the coorporates marking a better performance in all the spheres.
