Gautam Adani, Advocate Nundy and Khurram Parvez's profile among the list of TIME's 100 most influential people of 2022
TIME Magazine released its list of 100 most influential people for the year 2022 in which Gautam Adani, billionaire industrialist and advocate Karuna Nundy and Kashmiri Human Rights Activist, Khurram Parvez profiles got featured.
Adani's profile in the magazine says that he started off as a regional business and has built an empire which spans from airports, private ports, solar and thermal power, to consumer goods. Adani Group is now a national behemoth in the world's sixth-largest economy.
Talking about Nundy, the profile conveys that she's not only an advocate but also a public activist who is brave enough to voice out her opinions openly outside the courtroom too. She's a fighter for women's rights, she's fought for many cases involving rape and sexual harrasment.
Khurram Parvez's name has also been featured who is a Kashmiri human rights activist and Chairperson of Asian Federation Against Involuntary Disappearances and Program Coordinator of Jammu Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society.
The list includes the names of US President Joe Biden, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, tennis icon Rafael Nadal, Apple CEO Tim Cook and media mogul Oprah Winfrey.
